Eduardo Alemán is Professor of Political Science at the University of Houston. He holds a PhD in Political Science and an MA in Latin American Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). His research focuses on political institutions, parties, and legislative politics, particularly in Latin America. In addition to his academic scholarship, he is a frequent political commentator in media outlets.
